Happy New Year! I wish everyone nothing but goodness for the coming year
Let’s hope the coming year brings calm seas. The beach took a beating during the end of 2017. We lost at least 10 feet in height on the front beach during the month of November. We have seen this before and the beach has come back. So let’s hope for a calm winter and spring.
Being the winter the days are short and the nights are long. This is the time of year that we are supposed to get our fishing gear ready for the coming season, so let’s get off the couch and start cleaning those reels and sharpen the hooks on those always go to lures and jigs. Make all those leaders and rigs needed for the first month at least. Well I’m not much of a couch guy. My dog has got that covered pretty good, but I do love my recliner. I hope I can listen to my own advice.
We have a lot to remember and be thankful for, but we also have the future to look forward to. We have many openings for membership so let’s grow the RIMS family so we can keep helping keep the shore line open for fishing and family recreation.
