 Adam Ducki – Member comments

  • His unwavering commitment to rectifying a bad situation over the 4th of July holiday weekend. He went well out if his way to help a fellow member remove his oversized camper off the sand trail when stuck and losing the bead on some of the rv's tires, then spent the entire weekend getting and repairing tires to be mounted on this particular RV, so it would be able to be taken off the property. Saving the member, probably thousands of dollars in towing fees, not to mention the inconvenience it posed for the members who were stuck behind the rv right before the night driving restrictions were ticking down, and within the walking restrictions ropes for the Piping Plovers. Oh yeah! That would be me! Funny how things work out! Plus the ugly outcome could have been for members that hadn't arrived yet for the holiday weekend.

  • He always steps up. Flipping burgers, beach clean up, blowing leaves, he's always there when it counts

Justin Poole – Member comments

  • Justin has done a wonderful job in the many activities that he volunteered for during 2024.  First of all he stepped forward and took charge of the May outing.  This was a big activity to undergo in short notice.  With getting volunteers to assist him and overseeing the whole affair which was very successful undertaking. He also chairs the Tournament Committee in which he keeps all members informed on tournament dates and rules and regulations for each tournament.  He also established a tournament for the younger members in RIMS by having a Family tournament.  This was very  well received by those who participated and a lot of fun.

Ken Blanchard - Member comments

  • Ken has been the Newsletter chairman for many years.  The newsletter is a very informative document that takes quite a bit of time to put together.  Ken works with every chairman to make sure that our members are informed of every activity that goes on in RIMS in each newsletter.  He also sends out mass emails when needed to update members of important information that comes up during the year.  Ken has also helped other committee chairmen at times.  He was a big help in the by-laws committee recently with the mailings and he also helped in updating the Handbook with all the by-law changes. He also revamped the Awards Committee by adding the Black Jacket Award for an Outstanding Member.  If anyone deserves this award, Ken does with all that he has done in the past 20 years plus.
  • His dedication and hard work on our newsletter for the last ???? years.
